Toot & Puddle (Toot and Puddle)

Long time no update!

So where to begin? I'm sold on Fireworks - I ask to seem them again nearly every day. I particularly enjoyed the one that blew up right under Grandpa's foot beneath our picnic table!

I'm also becoming fond of picking blackberries in our backyard - I even eat the red ones although they make me pucker. I read a really good book this month, Angelina Ballerina. Heard of it? Superb illustrations. Lots of sparklies. I'm determined to find the whole series. For now, though, I'm enjoying the many adventures of Toot & Puddle. Puddle is my favorite because he likes to stay at home like me. We've been eating outside at our picnic table a lot and laying on our lawn blanket under the stars. I always spot airplanes first. Oh yes, and I almost forgot - I learned how to roast marshmallows! I don't know what life was like before now, its so much fun. Mommy keeps telling me I should eat them too, but I just prefer setting them on fire and letting someone else eat them. I rode my first big girl ride on the fourth of July. A flying elephant! It was so nice to feel the wind in my face.

Mommy and Daddy and I are getting pretty good at dancing in the kitchen. We like Beatle Brunch on Sunday morning the best. Sometimes we're having so much fun dancing and eating doughnuts that we go to church a bit late. Speaking of church, I'm in Sunday School now! I make crafts every week though I don't know why we call them crafts. I'm also learning to say my prayers at the dinner table. I haven't gotten that bit down about waiting for other people before I start eating though. A bit weird if you ask me.

Grandpa is teaching me Welsh and Grandma GiGi and mi abuelo are coming in another couple of weeks. I know what sounds a ci and a cath make and I can tell you what a boy and a girl are in Welsh. I can really say my ch well cause I really like to spit anyway.

I have some newer pictures of me, but I'll have to put those up later. I've been enjoying running around in the sprinkler in our yard and going to lots of movies. Garfield's Tale of Two Kitties is top notch and I highly recommend it. We saw a movie called Cars but I almost fell asleep in it. There aren't any people in it - just cars. And they talk. Come on. Everybody knows cars don't talk. I can't wait to see that movie about the talking cows.

Later.....  okay, here's the promised pic. Me on the drums. Woot!

Me and Mommy trackin' down my first Halloween loot for the year. We saw owls! A big one and a little one. Plus, there was a two story pumpkin in the middle of the street!! Mommy let me have tootsie rolls and we ate at Arris' pizza for lunch. Hard to beat that!! There were kids everywhere with lots of costumes, but I just enjoyed wearing my boots and sweater. Maybe next year I'll be a cat...

We went to the Governor's mansion and I got to see the french fountain for the first time. It was so pretty! If it hadn't been cold, I probably would have gone for a swim.

Ah well, there's always summer. Someone needs to tell Mr. Governor to clean his house. There were way too many cobwebs.

Sunday in the Park

Sunday in the park. I should really do this more often. A little running. A little meditation. Now all I need is some Cold Stone. Woot!

~ London

Yeah, this is me in a mood, sorry. I'm supposed to be napping right now, but instead, I've decided to entertain my mommy. We're watching Winnie-the-Pooh and snuggin'. Snuggin' is weehippin speak, y'know. I'm wearin' bows in my hair for the first time today and I have to say, "eat your heart out baby." I'm all girl. Wanna play in my sandbox? I have trucks!!

Anyway, here's some pics of me and dad snuggin' on another day.

In our PJ's.

The sugary breakfast cereal is settin' in.
